February

Well..I need to keep up on things a little more. Not a whole lot has changed. Nathan and I are doing well. We really need to get back to the gym, but we always seem to be making excuses why we can't and don't really need to go. We CAN'T do that anymore. Valentine's Day came and went and it was fantastic! Nathan and I agreed to not buy anything for each other and it had to be made from the heart. Nathan made me chocolate covered strawberries and peanuts. They were delicious!!! So I was at a loss on what to do for my amazing husband. First I should start that I don't really cook and I want to start more. Nathan loves my mom and dad's beef and noodles...so I thought why not give it a try. And I did and it was great! I also made him chocolate covered potato chips and peanuts. They were not as good as his, but still very good! Maddie made her daddy a valentine too complete with her very own paw print! It was too cute!!!! Nathan is going back to school, so I miss him during those nights, but it will be well worth it in the end! Probably at least 18 months for school. So I am setting goals for myself and next month hope to start up on those. I am going to continue going to the gym...remember we have 3 weddings in now 16 months!!!!! Nathan is in all 3 and I am in one...Matron of Honor!!! I am so excited. I want to start working on my scrapbooks more, my best friend Kristin and I are going to work on them once a week together and then when Nate is in school I will work on them. I want to try and complete one a month....I have a lot to catch up on. So we will see...That is pretty much it for February...March will be just as crazy and busy as the relay has really picked back up, but with all that being said busy life and all I could not ask for more!

Happy New Year

Well...it is not 2011. This is the year! I can feel it. The holidays have come and gone and might I say I am very glad for that! They were great don't get me wrong, but I stressed way too much on them this year for some reason. New Years eve was fun. We spent it would our friends Kristin and Phil at Kristin's parents house. I had two delicious bottles of wine and many games of catch phrase...which were very very funny! Kristin and Phil got engaged on Christmas and have asked Nathan and I to be in the wedding. So we are very excited for this. We have 3 weddings in the next 15 months and Nathan happens to be in all 3 of them. I am very excited to be the Matron of Honor for Kristin. So our first wedding will be Kristin and Phil on 9-10-11, then Beth and Chris in Florida on 9-16-11, and then Robin and Nick on 3-24-12. Congratulations to them all!

I'm 30!!!!

Well I missed a few years...but I am sure that is going to happen now with age...lol. I had the most fantastic week ever last week. For one I was off all week. I spent Monday with my mom and my nephew Justin. It was great just hanging with the two of them. Tuesday I laid around the house ALL day and didn't do a thing....Then Wednesday was the BIG day! My BIG 30 birthday!!! I had an eye appointment which was no big deal, I went and did a little retail therapy, had lunch with my sister, and then my first surprise of the night was that my amazing husband had reservations at our favorite restaurant the Wellington Grille. It was just perfect! Dessert was complete with a little candle for my birthday. Then we went to Frickers and hung out with some friends and had a few drinks. It was a great day...then after a little fun with the hubby I come back to bed with all the lights out and I couldn't see a thing. I turn on the light and my birthday present in on my pillow all wrapped and with a pretty white bow. I open it to find a beautiful Pandora bracelet complete with 4 new beads. I know in passing I had mentioned I would love to have one, but never thought he would actually go through with getting me one. It was perfect. There is a cupcake bead for my 30th birthday so I always remember when I got the bracelet and a blue topaz and silver bead that is for our wedding colors and then 2 stoppers with diamonds. I LOVE it!!! Thursday was Turkey day which is always good and we put our tree up and the house is all decked out for the holidays now. Friday was another day of surprises...I was told I needed to be dressed and ready for dinner by 6:00 and that we were going out. I was so excited. Once we arrive at our location...another great choice by my hubby of Bar Louie and everyone canceling on Nathan we had a great dinner with my mom, dad, sister, BIL, Jon, and Michele. I was pretty upset with my friends once I heard all the excuses and reasons that they couldn't be there to celebrate my special day. I saw right then and there who really cared and wanted to be there for me. I am learning so much at 30 already. We headed to LYT with Jon for a couple beers and then called it a night. Saturday would then be the big game for the WARRIORS...We were in the final four and the winner goes to state! We were playing the defending state champions and certainly not the favorite to win...Out comes the warriors we get the ball first and SCORE...we stop them 3 and out, get the ball back and SCORE, this would be the pattern two more times! Yep you guessed it...WE WON and the WAYNE WARRIORS are going to STATE !!! I am so excited for this weekend! I can't wait. The warriors are going to make school history on Saturday and it's going to be great! More to come for sure...but right now all I can say is from last week I Could Not Ask For More.

Last Day in my 20's

Well I missed more years again....

The most important and most unforgettable would be 5 years ago when I married the love of my life. That was the most incredible year ever. I will never forget it.

Today is my last day in my 20's and what to do is the question...no big plans. I really need to be cleaning the house for our Turkey Day here at our house. So off I go to clean the potty, and the bedroom!! I can't wait to see what my hubby has planned for me this week!

I truly COULD NOT ASK FOR MORE!!!

Oppps Missed 8 Days, so today is 7 days left

So I missed yesterdays 8 days left...which would have been 8 years ago...I can honestly say I don't remember what was going on 8 years ago. I was still at home in 2002 and still not married. That is about all I remember...haha

So onto 7 days left til my BIG 3-0 and that would put us to 2003. BIG news for 2003 I got engaged!!! Nathan would propose to me in Cincinnati on the B&B Riverboat Cruise. It was perfect and we had a great time. Still living at home, but Nathan and I are approved for a mortgage and looking for houses. I can't believe that was 7 years ago....WOW

Yes I am a HUGE football fan and really support almost all football with the exception of Centerville and Northmont football...Big rivals, but what is the big deal. I just don't get it. 9 days and counting

Well we are in the single digits until my big 3-0 birthday! I have never been more excited. I thought I would take a minute and look back 9 years ago....So I would have been turning 21 nine years ago right....30 - 9 = 21 ( I know I am not 30 yet, but it's the principle that counts...lol) So November 2001. I wasn't married to the love of my life, I still lived at home, I was in school, I was just starting a new job at the credit union and I could finally drink legally!!! I know we went to dinner (I think Fridays in Beavercreek) and then we went to W.O.Wrights. That was our hang out for a bit...I had some crazy different colored stripped sweater on and Nate, Lynn, Hans, Shannon, Kel, Brendan, and Baxter were there. It was a good time. I remember my first jager bomb shot...I hated it and to this day I still do not like them. I remember Nate pulling over the side of the road so I could puke and Brendan driving by honking. It was a good night. I am sure next week there will be more puking and I am looking forward to it...one last time!! Hopefully the next nine months after this I will be pregnant! That would be the best birthday gift ever! So we shall see. I am staying very positive about things and that is why I am so looking forward to the next 30 years of my life. I just can't wait! I am not sure why I am so excited...maybe it is because for once my husband has something planned and I have NO idea what it is!! Oh and Michele got me a massage for my birthday, so it's a girls day at the spa next Saturday!!! I am so excited. Tomorrow I will look back 8 years ago...hmmmm I may have to think about that one....really hard...haha
